My origami box is the best way to present any gift or keepsake, and the recipient will keep it for years as a special reminder of you!

Each one is made by hand-folding specialty paper without any pre-purchased box or supporting cardboard and then exquisitely decorated.

Many customers use them as decorative display in their home/office.

Standard size is 4x4x2.  Other sizes available upon request.

Weddings

Wedding celebrations are the ultimate celebration of love, and it deserves to be accented with sentimental custom designs.

A bouquet created from watercolor sculpted flowers will last forever, and can be monogrammed with the bride and groom’s name and wedding date.  Monogrammed single flowers will be a treasured gift to the mothers/grandmothers of the special couple.

A decorated origami box given to each guest as a favor will be a memorable keepsake.

Reception centerpieces made of the sheet music roses using the couple’s favorite songs will spark great conversations and memories.

Performers

Traditionally, theater/musical performers receive live flowers at the end of their shows. But those flowers are gone within a week, leaving only dried up petals behind.

My flowers are beautiful forever and remain a remembrance of each special performance.

For theater performers, the watercolor sculpted flowers can be monogrammed with the show name, show dates, theater name, and the part played.

For music performers, a sheet music flower can be created using a song from the musical or a song that you played during a concert. With every show, the performer can add another flower to their bouquet, and it instantly becomes an ongoing scrapbook to commemorate all of their performances.

These are wonderful gifts for visiting directors or local community orchestras too!

Watercolor Flowers

Watercolor sculpted flowers are my signature creation and unique to The Sentimental Gift.

Each flower is made completely from hand-painted watercolor paper sculpted into shape using scissors and tweezers.

Each flower design starts with historical research about the flower so each design has extra sentimental meaning. (i.e., the day lily, my debut flower, means happiness).

Professional calligraphy is also available to monogram a petal for special information such as bride/groom names and wedding dates.

These flowers are the perfect way to commemorate any occasion.

Sheet Music

Sheet music roses are the best choice to commemorate a moment in time!

Using sections of real sheet music, each petal is hand-cut so that you can see specific notes, lyrics (if available), the title shown on one petal along with the song writer. Over 100 songs are currently available, but any song choice can be created.

This is also the greatest gift for those performers in your life! Instead of giving real flowers that whither away in a week, choose to give them a sheet music rose choosing a song that they are performing.

The bouquet can grow with each performance, and be a wonderful reminder of all the successful shows they complete.

About the Artist

As a fine paper artist, my goal is to provide customers with elegant, unique and special creations that enhance their heart and soul.

My signature watercolor sculpted flowers were cultivated from an idea shortly after becoming a full time artist.

Focusing on the sentimental meaning of my creations, I research the history of each flower before developing it in paper.

I look forward to growing my fine paper creations every year, providing each customer with a sentimental, artistic, and elegant creation for their life.

Currently, I work full-time in my studio, vendor regional art shows throughout the year, and accept commissioned work.

Memorial

They thought that the bright, vivid colors would help to bring happiness back to their hearts.

Watercolor sculpted day lilies can be monogrammed with the person’s name and their birth year-death year.

Attached to the arrangement is an original, inspirational poem beginning with “I cannot touch your hand, but I can feel your guidance” and ending with “I cannot hear the words, but I can feel your love”.

Place this flower and poem next to the loved ones photo, and you have a wonderful corner to honor their memory.
